painfully sluggish

Unfortunately I purchased this app based on comments from coverage at MacWorld without waiting for ratings. My mistake as it is very sluggish which makes it painful to play (iPad 1 and iPhone 4).
This is unfortunate as it does look pretty nice and does give a decent selection of games.
Also the iPhone version looks like a miniature version of the iPad including tiny buttons - no redesign, just shrunk down.
Ultimately it looks like it might be a port of another version but has no tuning for the iOS devices nor consideration of iPhone vs. iPad screen size. There is really no excuse for this as it definitely should not need any high performance capabilities.
Would recommend staying clear of this.
